Fire Hazard Sign Can I Legally Get Out Of My Lease?

Can I legally get out of my lease? - fire hazard sign

I rented a 3 bedroom duplex and I signed a 1 years lease for the property, but my landlord, my concerns, when asked ignores the fact that something is not working or is damaged. The door to my screen will not stay closed, I do not have screens on one of my window, and the only absolute worst thing is that my light in the kitchen, flouresent the (glued) together Duck This is a fire hazard. I called my landlord about a month on monitors and light kitchen, sent someone to see and nothing there. I have a child of 13 months and I think this house is not safe for them. So I can legally break my lease. Thank you! (Incidentally, I live in IL)
